Gary Davis, who is well known under the name Litefoot, paid a visit to the Southern Ute Indian Tribe on Thursday, Oct. 29 to give notice of the upcoming Reservation Economic Summit (RES) event in Santa Fe, NM.

The event will be held from Nov. 16-19 at the Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino, and will address the advancement of economic development throughout Indian Country. The Southern Ute Indian Tribe has been invited to participate along with many other tribes across the U.S.

Additionally, the Youth Entrepreneurship Summit (YES) event will make its debut – which is designed for Native high school and college-aged students interested in business and entrepreneurship to learn more about what it takes to become successful in business. The event strives to engage and inspire young Native youth toward a bright success.
