Summary of Position: Our busy office currently has an opportunity for a professional and experienced individual to fill the role of IT Technician. In this position, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of all computer workstations and associated software on and off site for a small staff. Additionally, clear communication with end users is essential for the IT Technician to respond to staff and customers to help them resolve any IT or website issues. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join an established organization.


  • Interact with onsite and offsite staff on desktop & IT hardware problems and find their resolution
  • Research and solicit bids for hardware and software needs
  • Manage and maintain hosted website
  • Coordinate updates with outside web developer
  • Set-up, maintain and troubleshoot Mac Computers
  • Set-up computers, configure and install software for various applications and programs
  • Set-up and configure printers and other IT tools
  • Set-up and clean presentation equipment such as microphones, projectors
  • Maintain computer peripheral devices like printers, scanners and others
  • Perform routine updates and installations
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and resolve any IT related problems
  • Maintain and organize cables around hardware equipment
  • Maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected
  • Maintain website updates as requested by team
  • Communicate with website end users to resolve issues as quickly as possible
  • Assist with IT related RFPs
  • Assist with Cyber security
  • Solicit and review bids for IT related projects
  • Other relevant duties as assigned


  • Diploma or Certification in Technology Support/ Computer Systems Technology
  • 3-5 experience in a similar role supporting +200 users
  • A+ Certification is an asset
  • Apple Certification a plus
  • Solid troubleshooting skills in Mac
  • Excellent technical knowledge of network and PC hardware
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Is a team player able to work independently & well in a team
  • WordPress a plus
  • Django for Python a plus
  • Familiarity with website administration (dns, email, etc.)
