Take Care Transport®, LLC Serves Northeast Missouri with Non-Emergency Medical Transportation

Take Care Transport®, LLC formed on February 18, 2025, and conducted its first APEX Accelerator consultation on April 1st, 2025 - no joke! "I credit Stan Sams, my APEX Accelerator Consultant, with turning my vision into a reality from that very first conversation. I thought I had done my market research for my business plan, but Stan taught me how to look at my transportation market and environment through a more thorough lens", said owner Amanda Rose Belfield.  "Stan continued to coach me, weekly, on how to find local, state and government contracts and how to position my business with proper credentials for those contracts. Many of our conversations revolved around my research findings and questions. These were critical first steps as the rest of the year I navigated with greater ease and purpose as a startup small transportation business. My heart was in my business vision of providing a quality rural option for those needing access to care. Stan understood my commitment to making my business work", Amanda expressed.

Take Care Transport®, LLC is located in Northeast Missouri, in La Plata, Missouri, and is contracted with Missouri HealthNet Transportation Broker, MTM Health, providing Non-Emergency Medical Transportation for Medicare and Medicaid members in her rural community. This work is deeply rewarding to Amanda and her team of 6 credentialed drivers as they are recognizable in their community as qualified, caring and responsible individuals.

Take Care Transport®, LLC received the following designations and credentials over the last year. Amanda is a member of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Tribe.

  • United States Patent and Trademark Office registered Trademark Service Mark on October 28, 2025, for Take Care Transport ® LLC
  • The Missouri Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO) September 12, 2025, certification as a Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE).
