I thought I had done my market research for my business plan, but Stan taught me how to look at my transportation market and environment through a more thorough lens", said owner Amanda Rose Belfield. Many of our conversations revolved around my research findings and questions. These were critical first steps as the rest of the year I navigated with greater ease and purpose as a startup small transportation business. Take Care Transport®, LLC is located in Northeast Missouri, in La Plata, Missouri, and is contracted with Missouri HealthNet Transportation Broker, MTM Health, providing Non-Emergency Medical Transportation for Medicare and Medicaid members in her rural community. This work is deeply rewarding to Amanda and her team of 6 credentialed drivers as they are recognizable in their community as qualified, caring and responsible individuals.
