MESA, AZ – The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (The National Center) is proud to announce that its Chief of Staff, Erin Abrahamson, is one of the newest members of the Community Advisory Council (CAC) at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. The CAC plays a crucial role in advising the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco on matters related to community development, economic inclusion, and equitable growth. Erin’s expertise and passion align seamlessly with the goals of the CAC, making her a valuable addition to this influential council.

“Serving on the Community Advisory Council of the SF Fed Bank provides a unique opportunity to bring firsthand, frontline experience from community development work, offering valuable insights into local dynamics, challenges, and successes,” said Debra Gore-Mann, Chair of the CAC and President and CEO of the Greenlining Institute. “We welcome Erin and look forward to the invaluable community perspectives she will be sharing. Her engagement will help to ensure that the SF Fed is well-informed about the real-time needs of communities, informing their monetary policy decisions to build a stronger economy for all Americans.”

“We extend our warmest congratulations to Erin on her appointment to the Community Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco,” said National Center President and CEO Chris James. “Erin’s dedication to advancing economic opportunities for Indian Country aligns perfectly with the mission of both The National Center and the CAC. We are confident that her insights and leadership will greatly contribute to the ongoing important work of the CAC.”

The Council will also provide input to the Bank’s community development activities. All members of the CAC within the nine-state District of this Reserve Bank.

“I am deeply honored by my selection as a member of the CAC at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco,” said Abrahamson. “As a passionate advocate for economic development and community empowerment in Indian Country, my commitment extends to fostering positive change and promoting inclusive economic growth.
